I discovered comics and I was very pleasantly surprised: Trolls Troy, a series of a dozen titles have been published (I think) about eight in Spain by Editorial Planeta DeAgostini. The drawings, by the hand of Jean-Louis Mourier , I find simply extraordinary. Apparently it is the prequel to Lanfeust Troy, a series that was a phenomenon in France, selling over 100,000 copies per issue, which also had its sequel in the stars Lanfeust . We will have to keep an eye on that later, here is a whole universe to explore.
The script responds with credit to the graphic quality, tells an odyssey that respects the basic patterns of the fantasy adventure of sword and magic with star heroes called to great things, but adds a spice significant and innovative as the genus as traditionally icons turn evil "trolls" in the good guys, in a contemporary twist and certainly without renouncing to describe their habits, secular and barbaric as to devour human beings, in all its rawness. Thus makes the reader will enjoy following the adventures of Waha, breaking skulls Tenträm and Profi right and left and handing out brains for half bullet. In this reminds me of the French also turned into a phenomenon series Dungeon of Manu Larcenet and Joann Sfar , but infinitely more realistic drawing and perhaps less childish.
The atmosphere is kept to the last detail, from the designs of clothing and armor to the last plant or insect that hovers in a corner.
