Created in 2001, the Social Forum of Villanueva has performed in different periods public activities such as assemblies, workshops, lectures, debates, etc. around different issues of concern to the citizens of Villanueva de La Serena.
Now, driven by social, cultural, economic policies and now are living our locality, we wish to reactivate this open space for reflection, critique and the proposal is the Forum.
As a first activity, we considered it appropriate to make a first assembly that allows us to perform the essential sharing of concerns and alternatives on the local situation and gather proposals for the organization of future activities that help us to boost social and political space Villanovense that, unfortunately, currently suffering a big shortage of citizen participation, and an equally large surplus of arbitrariness in the exercise of municipal power.
